He pointed out that both countries protect people’s right to independence and to live in a multipolar world.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the naval strike group of the Russian Northern Fleet, including the nuclear submarine Kazan, the frigate Admiral Gorshkov, the supply tanker Akademik Pashin, and the rescue ship of the Russian Navy, Nikolai Checker, arrived yesterday at the port of Vargas.
The group is on a long sea voyage during which it passed through the Atlantic Ocean, where the group’s ships conducted firing operations from Havana’s precision-guided missile arsenal in Cuba.
Suarez said: “The visit of this Russian frigate and all its personnel carries a message of peace, reconciliation and protection, because we are people defending our beloved motherland, and this is for the whole world.”
He said, “From a geopolitical point of view, Russia and Venezuela protect the multipolar world. With this concept, our people adhere to the leadership of President Nicolas Maduro, as well as our Russian brothers, led by Russian President Vladimir.”
