Marco Verratti does not forget Paris, even after three years spent in Qatar.
Between Marco Verratti and Paris, the story is long and deep. Arriving in the capital in the summer of 2012, he spent eleven seasons in the PSG jersey, becoming one of the symbols of the Qatari era. Left in 2023 for Al-Arabi SC, the midfielder then joined Al-Duhail SC, where he has been playing since the start of the sporting exercise, without cutting ties with Paris, where he visits regularly.

The two internationals know each other perfectly. They played together in Pescara during the 2011-2012 season, establishing a strong friendship to the point that Verratti even named his dog “Ciro”. The two men dined in the Italian restaurant of the former PSG midfielder, located rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement.
Express integration for Immobile
Taking advantage of this special moment, Immobile was able to gather valuable advice on Parisian football and life in the capital from his friend, whom he was already in the habit of visiting during his previous stays. A welcome boost for the new Paris FC striker, now based in the Trocadéro district, and eager to integrate quickly.
According to those around him, Immobile already feels perfectly at ease in his new environment. “Ciro is very happy, he feels very good in Paris and he hopes to be able to settle there permanently”we confide to The Team. His adaptation could also be facilitated by the presence of Timothée Kolodziejczak, whom he worked with in Seville, as well as that of his compatriots Diego Coppola and Luca Koleosho.
