Verstappen wins Formula 1 British Grand Prix qualification

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen wins the qualifying run at the 10th stage of the Formula 1 World Championship at the British Grand Prix.

The second place was taken by Briton Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes, the third was his teammate Finn Valtteri Bottas. Russian Haas pilot Nikita Mazepin took 19th place.

For the first time, the qualifying race was held in the format of a sprint race. Races take place on the Silverstone track. The race will take place on Sunday 18 July.
