Gymnast from France Samir Ait Said, who won a bronze medal in ring exercises at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, told Trend about this on Saturday, Day.Az reports.
“The National Gymnastics Arena, where the competitions take place, is a wonderful, spacious sports complex. Everyone who works on the organizing committee of the competition loves and knows their job. Everyone works very harmoniously,” he said.
The athlete admitted that he was pleased with the result achieved at the World Cup in Baku, since several years ago he had health problems.
“I’m pleased with my result, two years ago I had an injury, I trained a lot and hard to take prizes. A few years ago my father passed away, I promised him to do everything in my power to achieve high results,” noted athlete from France.
It should be noted that the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 7-10. Representatives from 67 countries take part in the competition.
