The last round games in the Volleyball Premier League were played tonight (Tuesday), when in the main games Hapoel Kfar Saba defeated Maccabi Hod Hasharon and Hapoel Galil Mate Asher / Acre defeated MS Eilabun. In addition, Hapoel HaMa’apil / Emek Hefer / Menashe promised a place in the playoffs after a victory over Hapoel Rehovot – a final game will be played later this week between Hapoel Rehovot and Maccabi Ashdod.
Upper house
MS Eilabun – Hapoel Galil Mate Asher / Acre 3: 1 (33:31, 25:19, 19:25, 25:19)
A rhythmic game in Eilabun between two teams that qualified for the semi-finals of the State Cup. At the end of the game, Mate won, which after a hard and tense battle, in the long and equal fourth campaign in which Eilabun had no less than three battle points that she missed. Hapoel Kfar Saba defeats Hod Hasharon in a tie game that ends up in sixth place in the top house ahead of the playoffs. Kfar Saba finishes third this season and looks ready for the State Cup semi-finals in two weeks.
Lower house
Hapoel HaMa’apil / Emek Hefer / Menashe – Hapoel Rehovot 0: 3 (20:25, 19: 25,26: 28)
A tense match took place tonight at the Menashe sports hall, in the end the qualifier wins and secures a place in the top playoff at the expense of Hapoel Jerusalem, which in turn will be comforted by a performance in the State Cup semifinals (play against Eilabun in the first game on March 20 at Romema Sports Hall, Haifa)
KK Tel Aviv – Maccabi Ashdod 3: 0 (25:16, 25:12, 25:13)
Ashdod secures first place in the lower house and a place in the playoffs against KK, which ends the season.
