Daniela Aránguiz Accuses Rojo Producer of Harassment
On the Sígueme program on TV+, panelist Daniela Aránguiz shared her experience of harassment at the hands of Rojo producer Jaime Román. The incident occurred when she was 17 years old.
During a discussion about the Netflix documentary on Mon Laferte, Aránguiz recalled receiving an offer to join Rojo. She claims that Román pressured her to switch from the Mekano program to Rojo, hinting at a potential power exchange.
“He told me, ‘Come to Rojo, I’ll make you more powerful than the Cocoteras. But here we have a different kind of price,'” Aránguiz recounted.
Feeling uncomfortable and sexually harassed, Aránguiz confronted Román directly. “I told him, ‘What’s up? Are you touching me, asshole?’ I stood up for myself because I’ve always been strong-willed.”
The producer was sentenced to four years of probation in 2013 for a separate harassment case.
