In this case, when the children from the Adi Dravidar community in that village went to the box store to buy snacks, the owner said to the children, “The village has imposed restrictions and no one should come to buy snacks from now on. Go home and tell them that they will not give them.”

After the related video went viral on social media, Karivalamvanthanallur police registered a case and arrested Ramachandran (A) Murthy (22) and Petik shop owner Maheswaran (40). Following this, the revenue department sealed Maheswaran Pettikadai shop. The accused have also been barred from entering the city.

Today, barricades have been placed inside Panchakulam village and police guard has been put in place. Vehicles entering the village are allowed to enter the town after being inspected. Vehicles going into the town are being sent with numbers marked with their names. Through this, political parties and community organizations have been restricted from entering the village.
