New Delhi: Indian superstar Virat Kohli was not with the team in many matches recently. Despite being in the team squad, the BCCI was informed that he was absent due to personal reasons. At one point, it was even rumored that Kohli was taking leave because his mother was ill. The family came forward denying this.
Kohli was not present in the first two Tests against England. Although he was included in the squad, he left the team citing personal reasons. But AB de Villiers, the South African cricketer and Kohli’s teammate in Bangalore Royal Challengers in the IPL, has come forward to reveal the real reason behind the incident.
De Villiers clarified through his YouTube channel that Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child and that is why the star is away from the team. De Villiers’ remarks were based on his chat with Kohli. De Villiers informed fans that Kohli is spending time with his family and is fine. AB also did not forget to appreciate Kohli’s act of putting family first.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will get married in 2017. Both have a baby girl. The name is Vamika.
