Eight people, including four school children, have been arrested in Virudhunagar for allegedly sexually abusing a teenager by filming her in an obscene manner. Following the transfer of the case to the CPCIT, the CPCIT police filed fresh cases against the eight arrested under six sections. Later, the police started the investigation in 5 groups and first investigated the victim girl in custody. Following this, with the help of the cyber crime police, they are investigating who was involved in the video and photos recorded in connection with the sexual assault incident and the persons involved in it.
