Valentine’s Day is usually celebrated by those who are in love, those who want to be in love and those who keep love in mind. But a zoo in Canada has come forward to reveal that lovers can still celebrate Valentine’s Day and they have a crazy way to do it. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend who has annoyed you the most in life, zoo officials are promising to take sweet revenge on them this Valentine’s Day. The zoo authorities have provided an opportunity to name the cockroach in the zoo after the person.
The Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy has come up with a different idea. Don’t worry if you don’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend to name anymore, whoever has been the biggest nuisance in your life, be it your friend, boss, relative or neighbor, this Valentine’s Day you can name that person as a cockroach at the zoo.
But the thing won’t happen for nothing, it will happen only if you donate at least 25 dollars i.e. 1507 rupees to the zoo. The naming ceremony can be done online by visiting the zoo’s website. But only that the contribution should be paid before that. After paying the donation and naming the name, a digital certificate with the given name will be obtained from the website. Zoo authorities have given strict instructions that this is a fun thing to do and that nothing hateful or obscene will be allowed to be added to the names.
The tweet posted by the zoo authorities in this regard received a mixed response. A section of people commented on this as a very interesting and innovative idea. But another section said that there is nothing funny about it and it seems very cruel and such things should not be encouraged.
