This film was shot by Lana Wachowski herself, who is already to participate in the fifth one only as an executive producer. The script was written and directed by 49-year-old Drew Goddard, who started with the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Lost, before drawing attention to himself as a screenwriter of the sci-fi dramas Monster and The Martian.
