Charlotte, who snatched a 34-point defeat against Phoenix in its previous game, received 27 points from Hayward and 25 from Roger. Miles Bridges added 23 and 14 rebounds, but the defense was in turmoil against the Wizards, who were on fire with 40 points in the final quarter.
