Shane Watson is getting the responsibility of the head coach of the Pakistan national team, such a rumor has been heard for several days. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s objective did not succeed. Watson rejected the PCB despite the tempting offer. This is said by the cricket-based website ESPN Cricinfo.

According to ESPN Cricinfo, Watson was initially interested in the matter but later bowed out. Basically the reason for not agreeing is the culture of Pakistan cricket. For now wants to be busy with his current coaching career and commentary. He is contracted as a commentator in IPL.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will play a five-match T20 series against New Zealand from April 18. Pakistan has to go down without a coach in this series. They will also play a four-match series against England in May. Then the T20 World Cup will start from June 1. Let’s see if PCB gets a coach in between.

Earlier, the Express Tribune had reported that PCB had offered Watson $20 million (Bangladeshi Taka 22 crore). Meanwhile, a PCB source told PTI that the former Australian player had demanded US$2 million.
