In order to eliminate illegal open-air trade in Yerevan, the municipality conducts intensified inspection visits every day, now already with police officers, the Yerevan municipality announced.

In 2021, about 2,200 trade protocols were drawn up, and in the first quarter of 2022 – 500.
“The first time violators are fined 70-90 thousand drams, the second time – 200 thousand drams, but the problem is not the fine, but the fact that it is often not possible to collect it, because these people are insolvent,” said the staff of the Yerevan Municipality.
