We have to ensure return to Artsakh, we have no other way. On the 36th anniversary of the Karabakh movement, during the event organized in the building of the Artsakh representation in the Republic of Armenia, the words of the President of Artsakh Samvel Shahramanian were conveyed by the former deputy of Artsakh, former mayor of Askeran, Alyosha Gabrielyan.
As for what way, Gabrielyan mentioned that there was no mention of it by the president.
“The roads are different, there was no conversation about that. I can express my personal point of view: the return of Artsakh is connected with the renaissance of the Armenians, with the awakening of the Armenians. There will be an awakening when we all stand up and remove these authorities, after which the way to Artsakh will be opened. These authorities are doing everything so that the word Artsakh does not sound like an Artsakh person, they are doing everything to forget not only Artsakh, our historical homeland,” he said.
As for whether Shahramanyan’s point of view is the same, the former deputy of Artsakh mentioned that, on the contrary, Shahramanyan is talking about looking for ways of cooperation.
He mentioned that the event mainly consisted of congratulations and hope that one day they will return to Artsakh. “Also, it was a matter of preserving the Artsakh community, protecting spiritual and cultural values, so that we don’t do as these authorities want: to disperse, to take over, so that there is no Artsakh, no Artsakh people,” he said.
