INTERVIEW – The SSSCIP, headed by General Potii, is responsible for the security of computer networks in Ukraine.

General Oleksander Potii heads the SSSCIP (State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection), the body responsible for protecting communication networks in Ukraine and responding to cyberattacks. “Since the beginning of the year, compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the number of attacks has decreased, but their intensity and systematicity remain at a high level”, reads the SSSCIP report published in April. 34,000 suspicious events were identified, which led to the analysis of 202 attacks.
