‘We will not hand over burnt balloon parts to China’

A balloon flew suspiciously over a military-controlled area above a nuclear weapons site in the US state of Montana. The US said it was a Chinese spy balloon. Action was immediately taken to shoot down the mysterious balloon.

But there is a risk of shooting down the balloon while flying over a nuclear launch site. Besides, the US Army said that they abandoned the effort because of the possible harm to the people.

Its movement oriented series of activities were monitored. Following this, the United States reported that a Chinese spy balloon was shot down in the Atlantic Ocean. Two warships were sent to recover the wreckage of a giant balloon that fell into the sea.

While China’s balloon was fired, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed strong displeasure and protest against the United States. China has stated that it is a spacecraft for the use of the people.

In this situation, the United States has said that it will not hand over the balloon parts that were fired to China. In this regard, John Kerby, the spokesperson of the US National Security Council said:-

“Parts of the giant balloon that fell to the surface of the sea have been recovered. The recovery of the underwater balloon wreckage is underway. There is no plan or intention to hand over the parts of the balloon recovered from the sea to China.

We gathered enough vital information about the balloon before shooting it down. We are analyzing that information. More information may be available after the balloon parts are recovered.”

He said this.
