The new sanctions of the West are directed not only against the authorities or business, but also against the entire population of Russia, stated the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the fact that the USA and the European Union imposed new sanctions on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the special military operation.
“We got used to these endless restrictions, we learned to live with them, but I want to draw attention to the fact that today the new restrictions are not against the authorities and businesses of our country, as our opponents like to say, but against the entire Russian population. are,” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel. As an example, he mentioned the bans and restrictions imposed on the “Mir” payment system and companies engaged in housing construction projects in Russia.
“The reason is understandable: the worse it is for the citizens of Russia, the better it will be for the Western world,” Medvedev wrote, adding that revenge should be taken for all that. “Russia must take revenge on the West for these sanctions everywhere.”
“Everyone should just remember this and take revenge on them wherever possible. They are our enemies,” Medvedev wrote.
He expressed the opinion that for the West, it is necessary to create difficulties in the economy, to cause public dissatisfaction with the incompetent policies of the Western authorities, to develop and advance international solutions to the detriment of the interests of the Western world, “to do this constantly, systematically and as openly as possible”.
