According to The Business of Fashion, a website specializing in the sector, Rare Beauty is exploring options to sell the brand, carry out an initial public offering or receive new investment, with all options keeping Selena in the business.
In 2023, the company exceeded US$400 million in sales. Rare Beauty has been consulted about a possible acquisition since the end of last year, but for now the company has not received formal offers and has not provided financial information to potential buyers.
