What is the latest weather forecast for Italy?
By evening, showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be strong, are forecast to move into Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, and parts of Liguria and Lombardy. On Monday, the unsettled weather is set to expand across the entire North, the central-northern Tyrrhenian regions, and Sardinia. These areas can expect further downpours and locally intense thunderstorms.
Tuscany is identified as a region with a high risk of storms, possibly seeing accumulations of 50-80 mm of rain, with isolated peaks reaching 150-200 mm in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (VCO) area. The forecast suggests widespread instability from north to south, characterized by alternating rain and drier spells, with the exception of the far south where phenomena are expected to be less frequent.
