Opposition parties have been voicing their condemnation of the government’s decision to hand over some areas of the Tamil Nadu government tea plantation corporation Dandee to the forest department. In this situation, Forest Minister Ramachandran, speaking to the press at a program held in Coonoor of Nilgiri district, said, “We are taking steps to change the Dandee company so that it is not a loss-maker in the future.
For this purpose, a committee has been formed and is conducting a study. Unemployment will be created in Dandee. What does the BJP state president know about tea? He is always speaking on the stage without knowing or understanding anything,” he said.
