Wi-Fi, or Wireless Fidelity, is a technology that allows data to be transmitted instantly and wirelessly through the propagation of radio waves. A committee of scientists from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, which included experts from around the world, was commissioned to develop this innovative project in 1997.
