Dusseldorf Concerns about ever increasing electricity prices have fueled the demand for solar systems enormously for months – since January an average of 11,000 photovoltaic systems with an output of one to 30 kilowatts have been put into operation per week. Because electricity is cheapest when it is not drawn from the public power grid but is produced on your own property.
With a photovoltaic system (PV system), solar power can be generated permanently for ten to 14 cents per kilowatt hour, depending primarily on the investment and operating costs.
