WhatsApp brings iPhone users the change it promised them

by time news

The site points out that WhatsApp did announce this ability 10 days ago on Twitter, but in practice, at least on the iPhone, not all users received it. But last night a new version of the application was released for Apple devices, and according to its list of changes, which appears in the store, this time it includes the ability to delete messages up to 60 hours (two and a half days) after sending in any private or group conversation, so that the message will disappear for both the sender and the recipients .

Remember, until last year, deleting messages was limited to a few hours after sending, if you wanted them to be ignored not only from your phone, but also from those of the contacts to whom you sent them. Less than a year ago, the time was extended to a little over a day, and in recent months, WhatsApp has been working on extending the deletion time to two and a half days, and now, as mentioned, it is available to all users.

Now, WhatsApp is working on the next improvement for deleting messages – the option to cancel the deletion of a message for a few seconds in case of deletion by the sender only instead of the deletion option for all participants in the conversation.
