The writer of these lines also got access to the new feature – but as soon as I tried to change the language to Hebrew, to capture screenshots of how it would look in the holy language, I lost access to it. Therefore, we will have to make do with the screenshots of the WABetaInfo website, which uploaded images of how it looks in English: a long press on a message displays, alongside the existing options to move it or delete it immediately, also an option to save it, whose icon is designed as a bookmark. Clicking on the icon will prevent the message from being deleted after the period of time set as the automatic deletion timer for the rest of the messages in the conversation, and will add it to the list of saved messages, which can be accessed by clicking on the contact’s or group’s information at the top of the screen and choosing “kept messages” (in the Hebrew version it will be called “Saved messages” – although, from the loss of access at the moment of changing the language, I assume that the feature has not yet been translated into Hebrew), as we already saw last week.
