In the process of demarcation and demarcation, the most important thing is the legal evaluation, the head of the Cadastre Committee, Suren Tovmasyan, told reporters about this.

“On the basis of the legal assessment, one can only say on which maps the process can be done. Those works are being carried out, there is a group led by the Deputy Prime Minister of RA, where my deputies are also participants, daily work is being carried out,” he said.

According to Tovmasyan, when there are results, it will be publicly announced.

To the observation that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia does not have a cadastre certificate, the head of the Cadastre Committee said that, in his opinion, the Prime Minister’s speech referred to the fact that Armenia’s borders are not demarcated and delimited.

“When the borders of Armenia will be demarcated and delimited, it will mean that the borders of Armenia are documented and Armenia has the information about its sovereign territory,” said Tovmasyan.

To remind, the next meeting of the respective commissions of the two countries on the demarcation and demarcation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place at the end of January. The draft regulation on the joint activity of the commissions will be discussed at the meeting.
