“Throughout the history of the Armenian people, a problem has always accompanied us for many centuries. it was almost always very difficult for the struggle, the resistance, to gather material resources inside, and this factor was weighty at different stages of the struggle, often becoming a decisive reason for the defeat. And vice versa. In the 90s, all the resources were put on the victory, and the victory happened.
“No resource”
We already know by heart that the circles that have become owners of enormous capital at the expense of this public resource “have no resources” for the struggle.
We already know that those who have become owners of capital thanks to Artsakh “don’t have the resources” to save their own homeland.
We also know that the Armenian big business will not leave its comfort until the last moment.
Russian-Armenian and Western-Armenian capital will start working only when it is “told”. this is already clear to everyone. Who are the tellers, and what will guide them while “telling”? This is a separate issue.
It must be admitted that this is not today’s problem. it was like this 100, 200, 300 years ago and maybe even earlier. Read our famous writers of the previous centuries, and it will become clear that even in the previous centuries, the rich Armenians did not like to give money for self-defense squads, to get weapons, to fight and unite. Of course, there is an important caveat. maybe they didn’t give it voluntarily, but there was a struggle, and the strugglers got that resource from them by any method.
In the 21st century, too, capital and the sense of statehood do not cooperate for the most part.
“Put a pin in the patriot” column
Armenian capital may not give money to keep the homeland, but after losing the homeland, it can finance patriotic associations, social canteens, Sunday schools in foreign places, build houses of culture and thus “put a tick” in its column of a patriot.
This is the historical defect of our state thinking, which extends from the depths of centuries.
They are sure that soon Artsakh patriotic associations will be opened, maybe even several, competing and conflicting with each other: patriotic clubs named after Martuni, Askeran, Martakert, Chartar, Hadrut and the luxurious settlements of our luxurious homeland and a thousand other types of writers and pains. And the rich people who allocated a small amount of money from their big wallets will consider that they fulfilled their soul’s duty, everything for the motherland.
In today’s Armenia, more than 100 people submit an auction bid to buy a “car number” for an initial price of 50,000 dollars. About 800 people in other price categories. In other words, there are millions of dollars of free money for such stupid things with a large group of people in a country that has prisoners in prisons in Baku, a large part of which we lost a few months ago, where 450 people lost a father, a brother, a child in the last fight and explosion. there are families, where there are hundreds of thousands of homeless children, where there are people living in shacks in the disaster zone, where there is new Yrablur, where there are issues at the border: easily flammable shelters and there are underarmed soldiers and officers standing against the enemy, there are people who do not have money for treatment, etc. so on.
A resource is needed, and there is a resource
To generate serious, effective public processes, to start movements and to achieve success, resources are needed.
Our struggle often takes on a grotesque tone, when people with millions of incomes and enormous financial resources allegedly fight alongside those who have no money to raise a child. This is supposed to be a struggle, this is not a shoulder-to-shoulder struggle, because after another rally or movement, one is left with acute domestic problems, loses a job or ends up in prison, without a lawyer and without a means of support for the family, while the “struggling” safe people continue on. their life: one season in France square, one season in Los, Dubai, Europe and other mode. This is not a struggle. And it is really not understood who is fighting for the motherland and who is fighting for their own property.
And let no one say that resources are not needed for changes, including the process of forming a new government. Georgia finally got rid of Saakashvili, who became its national problem, thanks to Ivanishvili, who was either a moderator or put large funds into the cause.
Of course, it will not stay like this. One day the government will change and questions will certainly arise. After national disasters of such a scale, there is always a national struggle, and any succeeding government will go after big money to rebuild the destroyed country, help tens of thousands of fatherless and homeless families, give the officer a decent salary, provide a decent life to the heroes’ families, and finally, social justice. to restore to some extent.”
