Australia will host the next World Cup in four years. DR
The 11th World Cup was awarded to Australia in May 2022. Co-organizer with New Zealand in 1987, the Island-Continent had also already hosted the competition alone in 2003, the only one won by a nation of the Northern Hemisphere (England). It will take place from Friday September 10 to Saturday October 23, 2027 and will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its creation.
The first twelve qualified countries are already known: those who finished in the first three places of the four pools of the 2023 edition. Namely France, Ireland, England, Wales, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Fiji, Italy, Scotland, Japan and Australia (which was already automatically qualified).
The 2031 World Cup in the United States
The next edition, in 2031, has also already been assigned. In eight years, the United States of America will host the World Cup for the first time in its history.
