The war in Ukraine, among other issues, has led to an unprecedented price rise in all sectors. One of the most affected has been the combustible which has led to a strike of more than 20 days for Spanish carriers, due to the great rise in fuel prices. In the midst of these protests and with society suffocated by the rise in prices, the Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, announced a shock plan in which among the fuel measures included a discount of a minimum of 20 cents for the purchase of each liter of fuel to both individuals and professionals. However, this was not the only measure, as the transport sector will be able to benefit from a grant of up to 1,250 euros.
Requirements
Among the requirements that are demanded to be able to have access to this helpit is established that they must appear in the Registry of Transport Companies and Activities, be self-employed or a company incorporated in Spain, not be part of the public sector and operate in the field of land transport, both goods and passengers.
To better identify each of the sectors, the Government has set some codes. Thus, number 4,932 will be the one corresponding to taxis, number 4,938 will be aimed at passenger land carriers, number 4,941 will identify freight transport by road and number 8,016 will be in charge of locating the service of transport people toilet.
Fuel subsidy amounts
The amount of the help for him combustible It will range from 500 to 1,250 euros and its amount will be set according to the type of vehicle owned by the person requesting the aid. In this way, those owners of vehicles of heavy goods and trucks will have a subsidy of 1,250 euros; the owners of light goods and vans will have an aid of 500 euros; bus owners, 950 euros; taxi owners will have 300 euros, the same amount that will be received by owners of rental vehicles with driver or VTCand, finally, there are the ambulances that have a stipulated amount of 500 euros.
Application deadline for fuel aid
The term limits that these people will have to apply for the subsidy will be the April 30, 2022.
