Whistle-blowing movie at the John A. Mann Theater; Basil Joseph and Ganapathi sharing movie experiences
Jan A Man is a film directed by Chidambaram starring Balu Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Basil Joseph and Ganapati in the lead roles. Apart from the young Malayalam actors, there are newcomers in the cast. The movie hits theaters on November 19.
Basil Joseph and Ganapathi share the highlights of the new movie ‘John A Man’. The two spoke in an interview with Asianet News.
Basil says that he is very happy that the movie is coming out in the theaters after a long time and that John A Man is a movie that you can go and watch with your family. ‘It’s nice to hear that there is a need to call people in the theater and book tickets again without getting tickets. It’s very exciting to be in the crowd with our film. John A Man is a movie that can bring people to the theater. John A. Mann is a movie that you can go and watch with your family, ”says Basil.
Ganapathi is sharing the story of writing and acting in a film directed by Chettan for the first time. ‘The film’s thread is about something that happened on Chidambaram’s birthday. Although Chidambaram had written the script before that, it was a different kind of script.
Arjun says that he is going to tell the thread to Ganeshita and Lakshmi Chechi, the producers of Naughty. They liked the thread and when Chidu started writing the script I also made some suggestions. So Chidu said, “You can become a writer with this,” says Ganapathi.
Basil says that he is coming to act in John A. Mann before the end of the shooting of Minnal Murali. ‘Kovid has stopped shooting and can’t sit at home. Lightning Murali had to shoot scenes that required a lot of people. That’s how the government said it could start shooting with 50 people. That’s when John comes to Mann, says Basil.
The film stars young Malayalam actors Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Ganapathy, Basil Joseph, Siddharth Menon, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Riya Saira, Ganga Meera, Sajin Gopu and Chembil Ashokan in the lead roles.
The film is scripted by Chidambaram, Ganapathi and Sapnesh.
The film is being produced by Lakshmi Warrier, Ganesh Menon, Sajith Kookkal and Sean Antony under the banner of Cheers Entertainment.
