## White House Discusses Aid, Gaza Conflict with Israel’s Netanyahu
The White House disclosed on Sunday details of a phone call between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
During the call, Biden urged specific steps to increase humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians and emphasized the need to swiftly release all detainees as progress has been made in negotiations.
The US President also stressed that the military operation in Rafah must have a plan to ensure the safety of displaced individuals. He and Netanyahu agreed to maintain close contact between the two countries.
Netanyahu informed Biden that “victory in Gaza means security control over it.”
Earlier in the day, Netanyahu told Fox News that he had not spoken to Biden since the latter criticized Israel’s military response as “exaggerated” and expressed ignorance of the president’s exact meaning.
