Ormax Media, a leading media consulting firm, has now published a list of the most popular male actors in Indian cinema. Vijay tops the list. Allu Arjun in second place and Shah Rukh Khan in third place. The list is based on an audience survey conducted in January.

Waris is the latest Vijay starrer to hit the theaters as a Pongal release. The action-drama film directed by Vamshi Paidipally entered the 300 crore club at the global box office. Allu Arjun’s last film to hit the theaters was Pushpa, which brought him pan-Indian attention. The second part of it is being prepared. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the success of Pathan, which has also become a comeback in Bollywood. The makers announced today that the film has entered the 1000 crore club at the global box office.
