Russia has no problems with NATO countries, they are the ones who artificially create problems, they don’t want a competitor like the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
“It is the same with other countries, including NATO countries. Who do we have problems with, none? They artificially create problems with us because they don’t want to have such a competitor. That’s it,” he said.
Putin added that Russia is interested in developing relations with NATO countries and that the Russian Federation and these countries have no territorial claims to each other.
“Russia has no reason, interest, geopolitical interest, economic, political, military, to fight with NATO countries. We have no territorial claims to each other with them, we have no desire to spoil relations with them,” said Putin, commenting on US President Joe Biden’s claims that the Russian Federation has similar plans.
Putin noted that the president of any NATO country cannot fail to understand this, “and, even more so, the United States, the sole owner of NATO.”
It should be noted that the other day, Biden announced that after achieving his goals in Ukraine, Russia may attack the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance by Putin’s decision. He said this during his speech in Congress.
“If Putin takes over Ukraine, he won’t stop … he will continue to move and attack NATO allies,” he told Congress.
