At least 300 elements of the Sedena and the National Guard arrived this Monday, April 29, in the state of New Lion.

According to the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), they will carry out security work jointly with local authorities.

Military and guards will be deployed throughout the state territorywithout a specific municipality being established for its operations.

Sedena explained that the arrival of 300 elements of its corporation, as well as the National Guard to Nuevo León, has the objective of combating activities related to organized crimemainly the crime of homicide.

FGR seizes nearly 17 thousand fentanyl pills in Nuevo León

The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) announced this Monday the seizure of almost 17 thousand fentanyl pills within a parcel delivery company New Lionlocated in the municipality of St. Catarina.
