The special of Amici 2024 aired on March 22, 2024 instead of Men and Women and had a great protagonist: Holden. During the episode, Rudy Zerbi wanted to have a discussion with his student, guilty of not having shown up for the duet rehearsal with Petit for the first evening episode. When Holden admitted that he had personal problems and was feeling psychologically ill, the coach pressed him and this unleashed the fury of the singer who, after insulting everyone, returned to the house, packed his bags and left school .

Amici 2024 by Maria De Filippi, does Holden leave the talent show?
Holden withdraws from the competition one step away from the evening show of Amici 2024. This is an integral part of the renewed daytime of Amici 2024 broadcast on Mediaset TV and streaming networks on 22 March 2023, the day before the first episode of the evening phase of the talent show. In the preparation of the episode, Holden he is called to rehearse in a duet lesson with Petit and the latter complains of sabotage by the former, with the absence of Laura Pausini’s stepson.
Holden, son of Laura Pausini’s musician husband Paolo Carta, does not attend the lesson with Petit and Nadia Rinaldi’s nephew blurts out: “he abandoned me and I taught lessons alone”. So Rudy Zerbi calls his team, in particular Holden, to rebuke the “great absentee” from the lesson with Petit, inviting the team to play for the common good and not in a game for their own gain at the talent show: “so guys, I said that you have to think as a team, one works for all… I would like to know why you didn’t go to the duets lesson?” .
Holden returns to Amici 2024, before the evening show
At this point Holden feels targeted and implicated, as if the talent scout accused him of indifference, sabotage to the team and more listlessness. Holden also declares himself to be prone to a state of anxiety, the stress which would lead him to sometimes train from group activities, even to the talent show, in order to be alone and overcome panic attacks. Then the summoned admits that he was followed by the psychologist in his studies for Amici 2024 and that he was in danger of going mad, also in relation to the non-stop work done for the release of the music video of the new single Solo stanotte, where he also allegedly missed a meal for the promotion of the launch: “I’m tired of mistaking my weaknesses for carelessness and I have done more than anything, working without stopping”.
“I invite you to calm down” is the prompt I reproach by Rudy Zerbi, who invites Holden to lower the polemical tone, causing the pupil’s shock withdrawal from Amici 2024. Holden packs his bags to leave Amici 2024, and then about face.
At a team meeting, in the presence of Alessandra Celentano, team leader for the dance circuit, Holden receives the verdict that allows him to return to the race. This, primarily given the small number of competitors on the team. In the absence of Holden, the Zerbi-Celentano team would start at a disadvantage with only 3 students Marisol, Petit and Dustin, and in these terms Alessandra and Rudy agree to give the exited player a second chance.
