Why rely on African research? First part of our African Research Matters series recorded at the symposium of the same name in St-Louis, Senegal for the launch of Global Africa: the first interdisciplinary and multilingual pan-African scientific journal.

Glad to meet you on the campus of Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, Senegal for the first part of our series. Global Africa, from the name of the 1st interdisciplinary and multilingual pan-African scientific journal launched on March 15 in saint louis during a symposium whose title itself is already a whole program:African Research Matters

How to reckon with and on African research? To meet planetary challenges and think about our common future… Huge project in relation to Africa’s share in the world production of knowledge (not exceeding 2%)

Huge project opened by the most eminent researchers in the humanities and social sciences, engaged on all the content and who question themselves without avoiding any subject that annoys on the art and how to finally put back the expertise, the experience and the capacities for resilience and innovation of African research on the international scientific scene.

With Mame Penda Ba (Senegal), associate professor of political science at the University of Saint Louis in Senegal, editor-in-chief of the first pan-African scientific journal Global Africa.

And Mahamane Tidjani Alou (Niger), associate professor of political science at Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey. It provides training in scientific publication for young Pan-African researchers.
