Djokovic will reportedly have to wait three years to get a new Australian visa. That means the player could be banned from entering Australia for three years. But Djokovic’s lawyer said he would appeal.

Djokovic is unlikely to play in the Australian Open, which starts on Monday. The player can enter the match only if he gets a favorable verdict from the court as soon as possible. Djokovic’s visa was initially revoked after Australian Border Force officials said the star had failed to provide “sufficient evidence” to obtain a vaccine exemption. This was shortly after his arrival in Melbourne on January 6th.
