Ukraine – Russia’s delegation has left for Belarus to negotiate a ceasefire with Russia as the war continues for a fifth day.
As Russia has been attacking Ukraine for a fifth day, the two countries have agreed to hold talks to end the war. Russia, which has infiltrated Ukraine and seized some cities, has called for talks.
Ukrainian President Zhelensky said he was ready for talks, but said talks in Belarus were unacceptable, as Russia had said. Meanwhile, Putin said that Western and NATO forces were engaged in intense operations against Russia, and ordered his army to keep the anti-nuclear forces on high alert. Following this, Ukraine agreed to hold talks in Belarus.
In this context, the Russian delegation has already camped in Belarus to participate in the talks, and the Ukrainian delegation is currently in Belarus. Talks between the two countries are expected to begin in the next few hours.
The Belarusian government has made arrangements for the talks. The talks will take place in the Pripyat River area near Chernobyl on the Ukraine-Belarus border. The talks are expected to end the Ukraine-Russia war, which has had a global impact.
