LIMERICK, Ireland – News of an unexpected death has been shared with deep sorrow.
Community Mourns Unexpected Loss of Junior
The community is coming to terms with the sudden passing of Junior, a beloved figure who resided on Glenmore Avenue, Roxboro Road, Limerick. His death occurred on July 20th, 2025.
Junior was predeceased by his parents, William and Tess, and his brother Frankie. He leaves behind a large and loving family.
He is survived by his brothers Pat, Jerry, and Terry, and his sisters Helen Corridan and Sandra, along with their spouses. He is also remembered by his step-sisters Peggy, Annette, and Betty. Numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and grand nieces will also miss him dearly, as will his cousins, extended family, and neighbors.
Junior was a cherished friend to a large circle, notably John Ryan and his wife Adriatix, who served as his carer. He will also be missed by the friends of the elderly and his loyal companion, Odie.
Funeral Arrangements Announced
The wake will be held at Cross’s Funeral Home, located at 2 Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick, V94X971, on Thursday, July 24th. Visitors are welcome from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The funeral Mass will take place on Friday, July 25th, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Roxboro Road. Following the service, interment will be at Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
