American corporation Microsoft released a new preview build of Windows 11, which added widgets to the operating system to monitor the status of the video card, memory and processor. You can download the update using the Microsoft Dev Home app.

New widgets track resource usage for RAM, GPU, and CPU, as well as show GPU temperature and Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection speed. Widgets can be called up with the Winkey + W keyboard shortcut, and information can also be obtained using the Xbox Game Bar application and through the Task Manager.

According to The Verge, the widgets are unstable, possibly due to the fact that downloading the update requires the installation of the so far beta version of the Microsoft Dev Home application. Earlier in Windows 11, a new smart opt-out feature appeared, which itself suggests turning off annoying notifications that interfere with work.
