Osasuna (9th) achieved their fourth victory of the season by beating Granada 2-0 this Friday (20), in the opening of the 10th round of the Spanish Championship.

Thanks to 2 goals from Croatian Ante Budimir (11′ and 59′ from a penalty), Osasuna got three points that provisionally place them at the top of the table.

In turn, Granada suffered its sixth defeat and has now gone seven rounds without winning, since beating Mallorca 3-2 at the end of August.

The team was without Israeli striker Shon Weissman, who did not travel to Pamplona for the game for security reasons.

According to the Spanish press, Weissman, the only Israeli player in LaLiga, did not board following an agreement with the club, which received recommendations from security bodies to avoid clashes with radical fans.

“This information is correct,” Granada told AFP, without giving further details.

On Saturday, leader Real Madrid visits Sevilla (14th), hours before the duel between Celta de Vigo (18th) and Atlético de Madrid (4th).

On Sunday, it will be Barcelona’s turn (3rd) to host Athletic Bilbao (5th).
