As part of the project “From Ganja to Baku,” first organized by the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov, a concert was held at the State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, the press service of the Philharmonic told Day.Az.
At the opening of the evening, the director of the museum, Doctor of Art History Alla Bayramova, noted the significance of the project in terms of cultural bridges between the capital and the regions of the country. It was noted that the soloists of the Ganja State Philharmonic became guests of the museum for the first time.
The concert program included People’s Artist Sevinj Ibragimova, Honored Artist Kamala Tagizade, soloists Vasif Bayramov, Rustam Jafarov, Tural Abdullayev, young vocalists Fidan Mammadzade, Gaya Nasibzade, who performed works by Azerbaijani and world classics – Asaf Zeynalli, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Muslim Magomayev, Fikret Amirov, Niyazi, Christophe Gluck, Ernesto de Curtis, Giacomo Puccini.
It should be noted that within the framework of the project “From Ganja to Baku”, once a month the soloists of the Ganja State Philharmonic will perform a concert program in Baku.
