The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, announced that the tripartite working group headed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will deal with the issues of unblocking economic, commercial and transport links in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as opening the borders.

“The issue of unblocking economic, commercial and transport links and opening borders in the region deserves special attention,” Putin said during his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday. “Interfax” writes about this.

“It is assumed that these issues will be dealt with by a special tripartite working group chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia,” added Putin.

“I would like to hope, dear partners, that our negotiations today will take place in a practical atmosphere and will serve to ensure stable peace, security and progressive socio-economic development in the region, which we are all undoubtedly interested in,” the Russian President said.
