The actress and director reveals her musical tastes on “Libération”
On-screen mother of navigator Florence Artaud in Flo by Géraldine Danon, the actress currently plays one of the major roles in Follow, a detective series broadcast on 13e rue, winner of the prize for best 52-minute series at the recent La Rochelle Festival . But she is also director of the documentary Making Peace on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, available on Arte.
What was the first record you bought as a teenager with your own money?
Lou Reed, Transformer. When I was a teenager, I shared a room with my older sister who listened to Julien Clerc and Véronique Sanson on repeat. We were constantly negotiating to listen to each of their records but it was okay!

I’m absolutely not ashamed of anything.

Queen, Another One Bites The Dust. Although I’m not sure everyone likes it.

None, I will enjoy the silence.
Is there a label that you are particularly attached to and why?
Tamla Motown. I remember my happy father arriving home with Marvin Gaye What’s Goin’ On. We immediately loved it and listened to it non-stop. It marked me.
Which record cover do you want to frame at home as a work of art?
The Rolling Stones. Their debut album from 1964, with a photo by Nicholas Wright.
Do you prefer records or live music?
The disks. I like listening to the same songs several times in a row, it’s tricky to ask that of a band on stage.
Your fondest concert memory?
Teenage girl: Aznavour with my parents. Later Lou Reed and Bowie. All three charismatic and impressive.
Do you go to a club to dance, flirt, listen to music on a good sound system or do you never go to a club?
The last time I went to a club was during a festival, it was very late, I don’t remember flirting but dancing a lot.
A record you would like to hear at your funeral?
That day they will do whatever they want but maybe Italian songs, Lucio Dalla or Lucio Battisti. It will make my loved ones smile. I got them so drunk with this.
Do you know what the metal drone is?
No way.

A compilation of singles from The Zombies, Odyssey and Oracle still from The Zombies and The Kinks Are Village Green Preservation Society.
