Woman tattooed with wrong coordinates

by time news

Bree Pritchett, a resident of Sidon, Arizona, took her boyfriend and friends to downtown to celebrate a full coronavirus vaccine. And she decided to celebrate this funny “holiday” by tattooing the global coordinates of Sidona on her shoulder.

Finding the coordinates on the Internet, Bree wrote them down and gave them to the tattoo artist. But instead of putting the letter “N” (North) in latitude (north latitude, where Sidon is actually located), she put the letter “S” (South), that is, “south latitude”. And the “memorial” was no longer in the state of Arizona, but 3000 miles away, in the middle of the desert waters of the South Pacific Ocean.

Pritchett was so happy with the tattoo that she posted a photo of her shoulder on social media. And only a week later, when her sister called her and pointed out the mistake, she realized what had happened. But she reacted calmly to her mistake. “I could certainly correct that one letter if I wanted to,” she says. “But I’ll probably leave it as it is. It’s so funny … ”.
