The 8th Women’s T20 World Cup is set to begin tomorrow (February 10) in South Africa. There are 10 teams participating in this series, Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka are in Group 1 and England, India, Ireland, Pakistan and West Indies are in Group 2.
At the end of the league matches, the top two teams in each group will meet in the semi-finals. The first match of this series (tomorrow) will be between hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka. India will face Pakistan in their opening league match on February 12. The Indian team is led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

* Women’s T20 Cup has been held since 2009. England won the first World Cup. Australia has won 5 World Cups since then.
