The Spanish selection has landed this noon around 1:20 p.m. at the Ibiza airport to celebrate the victory in the Women’s Soccer World Cup. The players have arrived on a charter flight and it was not known exactly what time they would arrive, so there were not many fans waiting for them.
A small group of fans has approached the airport’s executive terminal, the area where the bus has left, to cheer on the players shouting ‘world champions’ around 1:30 p.m., when the Spanish came out, and show their support in this very special moment for them and the fans. “Let’s hope that it doesn’t run out of steam and that there are more opportunities,” comments a group of Iberia workers who have approached the starting point to applaud the team.
