The best thing that happened in my coaching career was my work and I am not worried about being dismissed. I am only worried about tomorrow’s match.”
He explained that “Al-Nasr team shot (30) balls at the opponent’s goal in its first match in the Saudi Roshen League, but we did not score a goal,” stressing that “his team will play tomorrow without Cristiano Ronaldo and without Laporte, but our thinking will remain on winning the match.”
For his part, Al-Nassr striker Sadio Mane said, “I am very happy to visit Iraq, this historical country that loves football. Iraq is a great country and we found a great welcome from its officials.” He stressed that “we are determined to win and we will present it as a gift to Cristiano who is absent due to illness. We wish him a speedy recovery because he is a great leader and we wished he was here.”
