Written message from HM the King to His brother H.H. Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar

Doha, 07/08/2023 (MAP) – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, sent a written message to His brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

The message is about bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, reports the Qatari News Agency.

According to the Agency, the message was delivered to H.H. Sheikh Abdallah Bin Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Emir of the State of Qatar, who received the message on behalf of H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, during a meeting , Monday at the Prince’s Cabinet, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa.

During this meeting, Mr. Bourita conveyed HM the King’s greetings to His brother H.H. Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani and to H.H. the Vice-Emir and His wishes for health and well-being to their Highnesses and development and of progress to the Qatari people.

For his part, the Vice-Emir transmitted to Mr. Bourita the greetings of the Emir of the State of Qatar and his own greetings to HM King Mohammed VI and their wishes for health and happiness to the Sovereign and for more progress and prosperity to the brotherly Moroccan people.

This meeting was an opportunity to review the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and the means to develop them and to examine a number of issues of common interest.
