Chinese President Xi Jinping held a meeting in Beijing with representatives of American business, during which he outlined his vision of the prospects for cooperation between the two sides.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Interfax, Chinese state media reported this on Wednesday.

According to him, Beijing is planning and implementing a series of major measures aimed at comprehensively deepening reforms, creating a world-class business environment and providing broad space for the development of international business.

Xi Jinping called on the United States to work with China in the same direction, Chinese media note.

“Develop the right strategic perception, properly address sensitive issues in order to maintain the dynamics of stabilization of bilateral relations rather than a downward spiral,” his statement noted.

According to the President of the People’s Republic of China, despite the fact that “US-China relations cannot go back to the past, they can have a better future.”

Among the meeting participants were Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon, Chairman of the National Committee on US-China Relations Evan Greenberg and other representatives of US industrial, commercial, strategic and academic circles.
